Job Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a Lighting Project Developer at Evolved Lighting & Energy for a variety of customers in Ohio and Midwest. As a Lighting Project Developer, primary functions are to design and develop lighting improvements, including conducting lighting surveys, performing energy analysis, evaluating rebates, other incentives, and modeling lighting systems. Typical projects will be lighting retrofit and lighting control projects in the Commercial, Municipal, K-12, Higher Education, and Industrial Markets.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for organizing, arranging, and conducting lighting surveys for potential customers (recording fixture types, quantities, and other lighting specific details)
- Calculates energy use, maintenance savings, utility savings and rebate amounts
- Fills out, submits, and handles all incentive/rebate documentation
- Completes lighting photometric layouts utilizing lighting modeling software
- Utilizes energy audit software and/or building plans for lighting audits
- Records and evaluates interior and exterior light levels and other characteristics
- Responsible for lighting project record upkeep including paper and electronic filing.
- Travel as needed for audits.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- Bachelor of Science in related field required
- Valid State Issued Driver’s License
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must have intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Excel)
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Travel as needed for audits.

- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
